Article 17. The storage procedure of the certificate of electronic digital signature key in the registration center

The procedure and period of storage of the certificate of electronic digital signature key in the form of electronic document in the registration center are determined by the contract between the registration center and the owner of the closed key of electronic digital signature.

The cancelled certificate of electronic digital signature key in the form of electronic document is kept at the registration center for at least three years.

After the period of storage of the certificate of electronic digital signature key in the form of electronic document is over, it is withdrawn from the registry of certificates of electronic digital signature keys of the registration center and transferred to archive storage.

The certificate of electronic digital signature key in the form of electronic document is stored in the order established by legislation.

In case of loss of the certificate of electronic digital signature key, the registration center may issue a duplicate certificate of electronic digital signature.
