Article 7. Procedure for Permanent Residence in the Territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Foreign citizens and stateless persons may permanently reside in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be registered at the place of their permanent residence in accordance with the procedure determined by the legislation.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently registered at the place of their permanent residence in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be issued an identification card of a foreign citizen and a stateless person permanently residing in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The procedure for processing and issuing identification cards to foreign citizens and stateless persons shall be determined by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
