Article 36. Entry of Foreign Employees into the Territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Stay Therein

The entry visa of foreign employees arriving in the Republic of Uzbekistan for the purpose of carrying out activity in the Center shall be issued:

through the consular institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

at the international airports of the Republic of Uzbekistan — through the authorised subdivisions, in the manner established by the acts of legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

within the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan — through the internal affairs bodies, in the manner established by the acts of legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Foreign employees and the members of their families shall be issued entry visas for a period of up to three years.

The issuance of visas to foreign employees and the members of their families, and the extension, reduction and annulment of the period of validity of visas, shall be carried out on the basis of a representation (petition) of the Administration of the Center, in accordance with the requirements of the acts of legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In this connection, the period of validity of visas issued to foreign employees and the members of their families may be extended, on the basis of a representation (petition) of the Administration of the Center, without their departure from the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the manner established by the acts of legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
