Article 22. Right to Appeal

On legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Republic of Uzbekistan (LRU-692-son) · Date: 04.06.2021 · In force

Foreign citizens and stateless persons shall have the right to submit applications, proposals and complaints to state bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, organizations and their officials in accordance with the procedure established by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Appeals of Individuals and Legal Entities".

State bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, organizations and their officials, when considering appeals, shall provide foreign citizens and stateless persons with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with documents, decisions and other materials affecting their rights, freedoms and legitimate interests, if they do not contain information constituting state secrets or other secrets protected by law, as well as if familiarization with them does not prejudice the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities, the interests of society and the state.
