Article 15. Right to Carry Out Labor Activities

On legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Republic of Uzbekistan (LRU-692-son) · Date: 04.06.2021 · In force

Foreign citizens and stateless persons who carry out labor activities in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall enjoy the rights and bear the obligations in accordance with the labor legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The procedure for carrying out labor activities by foreign citizens and stateless persons in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be regulated by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on employment of the population.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons may not be appointed or elected to certain positions or carry out a certain labor activity if, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, appointing to such positions or carrying out such activity are associated with belonging to the citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
