Article 88. Participation of the guardianship and trusteeship body in court hearings of disputes related to upbringing of children

Family code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 30.04.1998 · In force

When the court considers disputes, related to upbringing of children, the guardianship and trusteeship body shall be involved in the proceedings, regardless of who is bringing the action in defence of the child.

The guardianship and trusteeship body must inspect the living conditions of the child and the person(s) claiming to bring him/her up and submit to the court an inspection report and an opinion on the merits of the dispute based on the inspection report.
