Article 369. Procedure for considering a claim on recognition and enforcement of a decision of foreign court and foreign arbitration court (tribunal)

The claim on recognition and enforcement of a decision of foreign court and foreign arbitration court (tribunal) shall be considered in the court session within a period not exceeding one month from the date of its receipt by the court unless otherwise stipulated by the relevant international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Persons participating in the case shall be notified by the court of the time and place of the court session. Non-appearance of persons duly notified of the time and place of the court session shall not be an obstacle for consideration of the claim.

When considering a claim, the court shall establish the circumstances by examining the evidence presented to the court, which justify the asserted claims and objections.

When considering the claim, the court shall not be entitled to revise the decision of the foreign court or foreign arbitration court (tribunal) on the merits.
