Article 306. Preparation of case for court trial

When preparing the case for court trial, the judge shall clarify which persons (relatives, colleagues, etc.) can give information about the absent person and also request from relevant organizations (internal affairs bodies, citizens' self-governance bodies, medical institutions, etc.) at the last known place of residence and place of work of the absent person the information available about him/her.

At the same time, after accepting the application, the judge may propose the guardianship and trusteeship body to appoint a person to protect the property of the absent person, as well as to manage his/her property.
