Article 259. Decision obliging the defendant to perform certain actions

When making a decision obliging the defendant to perform certain actions not related to the transfer of property or sums of money, the court may indicate in the same decision that if the defendant fails to perform the decision within the established period of time, the plaintiff shall be entitled to perform these actions at the expense of the defendant, with subsequent recovery of necessary expenses from him/her. If the specified actions can be performed only by the defendant, the court shall establish in the decision the time limit within which the decision shall be executed.
