Article 10. Implementation of mandatory certification

The organization of work on mandatory certification is entrusted to the “Uzstandard” Agency or, on its instructions, to other certification bodies with their mandatory accreditation.
The list of products subject to mandatory certification is approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In the absence of requirements ensuring the safety of the manufacture, use, transportation or storage of products that could cause harm to life, human health, property of legal entities and individuals, the environment, “Uzstandard” Agency provides, together with the relevant government bodies, the immediate development and implementation of such requirements.
