Article 4. Special Legal Regime of the Center

The special legal regime established by this Constitutional Law shall be in effect until the year 2100.

The special legal regime shall apply to the types of activity approved by the Governing Council.

For the purpose of protecting the interests of the Republic of Uzbekistan and preventing threats to security, the Governing Council shall be entitled to establish restrictions on the use of the special legal regime with respect to individual subjects of the Center.

Relations between the bodies of the Center and its other subjects shall be based on contracts concluded between them.

The opportunities, preferences and incentives granted within the framework of the special legal regime are guaranteed, and no amendment thereof in a manner that worsens the position of the beneficiary, nor any termination thereof, shall be permitted before the expiry of their period of validity.
