Article 16. Tasks of the Governing Council

The tasks of the Governing Council are:

the determination of the priority directions and the general rules on the principal matters within the framework of the special legal regime of the Center;

the determination of the principal conditions for the application of the special legal regime of the Center, as well as of the legal foundations of the activity of the bodies of the Center;

the approval of target indicators for the development of the Center and the exercise of general control over their achievement;

the adoption of resolutions on matters of the institutional development of the Center, including the protection of the rights of participants of the Center, as well as the improvement of regulatory instruments and the formation, for the participants of the Center, of an environment of legal certainty and predictability;

ensuring the long-term legal protection of investors and investments, as well as the establishment of guarantees of the inviolability of private property and investments.
