The use of transboundary water objects located in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other states of the Aral Sea basin, as well as wetlands that are mainly habitats for waterfowl, and the implementation of water management and water conservation measures are carried out in accordance with the international agreements of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Water use in the part of transboundary water objects that is not regulated by the international agreements of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
