On conflict of interests (LRU-931-son) · Date: 05.06.2024 · In force
For the purpose of preventing conflict of interests, an employee of a state body or other organization shall not:
derive personal benefit through abuse of official position;
conceal information or knowingly provide false or inaccurate data when disclosing information on conflict of interests;

own shares or interests in the charter fund (charter capital) of an entrepreneurial entity under the control of the state body or other organization where he or she is employed, or serve as a member of the management body of such an entity, except in cases provided for by the laws or decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, or where such activity constitutes official duties under the law.
if a person owns such shares or interests, or is a member of management bodies of an entrepreneurial entity under the control of a state body or other organization, and is appointed to a position in that state body or organization, he or she must, within one month, divest such shares or interests and withdraw from the management bodies in the manner prescribed by law;
participate as a representative in the consideration of matters related to himself or herself or related persons in the state body or organization where he or she works, unless acting as a legal representative under the law;
personally participate in the purchase or lease of property belonging to the organization in which he or she works.
An employee whose employment contract with a state body or other organization has been terminated, or who has been dismissed from service, may, within two years thereafter, be employed by organizations or their structural subdivisions that were under his or her direct or indirect supervision at the previous place of work only on the basis of a conclusion issued by the official performing the functions of the internal anti-corruption control unit of the organization where the employee previously worked.
The restriction specified in the fifth paragraph of part one of this article shall apply only to employees of state bodies, local public authorities, state trust funds, heads of state institutions and state unitary enterprises, as well as to heads of joint-stock companies in which the state share in the charter fund (charter capital) amounts to 50 percent or more.
