On transport (LRU-706-son) · Date: 09.08.2021 · In force
Transit transport corridors are created in order to optimize the use of the transport system for the transportation of transit passengers, baggage, cargo luggage, cargo, postal and courier items in international traffic in the directions of their greatest concentration.
Points of the transit transport corridor must be equipped with information and technical means that provide remote control over the movement of vehicles of international transportation and compliance with the established route for the transportation of passengers, baggage, cargo luggage, cargo, postal and courier items.
For each transit transport corridor, a specially authorized state body draws up a transit transport corridor passport, which includes the following information and documents:
type of transit transport corridor;
the name of the initial, final and intermediate points of the transit transport corridor;
the length of the transit transport corridor;
the period of transportation of transit passengers, baggage, cargo luggage, cargo, postal and courier items;
technological characteristics of the transit transport corridor and other information determined by a specially authorized state body;
technological schemes for the implementation of state control and supervision.
The start and end points of the transit transport corridor are the corresponding checkpoints across the State border of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The transit transport corridor is included in the register of transit transport corridors, which is maintained by a specially authorized state body.
The information included in the register of transit transport corridors is posted on the official website of the specially authorized state body.
The list of transit transport corridors is approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
