Article 5. Fundamentals of Legal Status of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons in the Republic of Uzbekistan

On legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Republic of Uzbekistan (LRU-692-son) · Date: 04.06.2021 · In force

Foreign citizens and stateless persons staying in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be guaranteed the rights and freedoms in accordance with the rules of international law. They shall bear the obligations established by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, laws and international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be equal before the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan, regardless of gender, race, nationality, language, religion, belief, social origin, or social status.
