Article 13. Right to Free Movement throughout the Territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Foreign citizens and stateless persons shall have the right to free movement throughout the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the procedure established by this Law and other legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The movement of foreign citizens and stateless persons across the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan may be restricted in border zones and border regions where movement is carried out on the basis of permits issued by the authorized state bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Special aspects of the movement of foreign citizens who have entered the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of a document defined by an international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan regulating the procedure for mutual trips of residents of border territories shall be established by international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
