Article 1. Purpose and Scope of this Law

On legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Republic of Uzbekistan (LRU-692-son) · Date: 04.06.2021 · In force

The purpose of this Law is to regulate relations in the field of the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This Law shall apply to foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the territory of other states, entering or temporarily staying in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as permanently residing in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This Law shall not affect the privileges and immunities of foreign citizens and stateless persons, established by the legislation and international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
