Article 41. International cooperation in the field of science and scientific activity

International cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of science and scientific activity is carried out in order to find their place on the world stage by national scientific schools, use the advanced achievements of world science and technology to increase the competitiveness of the national economy, attract foreign investment, leading foreign scientific and technological centers, scientists and specialists, providing increased experience and qualifications of individuals engaged in scientific activities abroad.

The state provides comprehensive support for scientific activities in the framework of relevant international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as international scientific programs and projects.

Subjects of scientific activity have the right to be members of international and foreign scientific and technological structures, participate in international scientific programs and projects, in cases of absence of restrictions, enter into transactions with foreign legal entities and individuals both on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and abroad.

Scientific organizations with the participation of foreign legal and physical persons on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be established in the manner prescribed by legislation.
