Article 20. State scientific programs

State scientific programs include state programs for scientific activity, state target programs for scientific activity and regional programs for scientific activity.

State programs for scientific activity are developed in priority directions for the development of science and technology and consist of scientific projects carried out on the basis of a state order.

The introduction of scientific projects into state programs for scientific activity is carried out on a competitive basis and by relevant acts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

State targeted programs for scientific activity are developed to solve actual problems and consist of scientific projects carried out on the basis of a state order for a specific product.

Territorial programmes relating to scientific activity shall consist of scientific projects aimed at addressing the socio-economic challenges of the relevant territory and introducing new scientific developments.

Topics, directions and information on the implementation of projects of state scientific programs are mandatory published in the media and on the official website of the authorized state body.
