Article 82. Procedure for conducting the gender audit and reviewing its results

The gender audit shall be carried out by the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan within the framework of public control in state bodies and organizations, based on the approved three-year plan.

The gender audit shall be conducted based on the methodology for conducting the gender audit, taking into account the specific nature of the activities of state bodies and organizations.

Specialists with the necessary knowledge and work experience in the relevant area may be involved on a public basis to conduct the gender audit.

Information and proposals regarding the results of the gender audit shall be sent to the Republican Commission on enhancing the role of women in society, gender equality, and family matters no later than ten working days after the gender audit is conducted.

The Republican Commission on enhancing the role of women in society, gender equality, and family matters shall review the information and proposals regarding the results of the gender audit within one month. Based on the results of reviewing the information and proposals regarding the results of the gender audit, the Republican Commission on enhancing the role of women in society, gender equality, and family matters shall define measures aimed at the phased introduction of a comprehensive gender approach into the activities of state bodies and organizations, including in carrying out personnel policy, and shall monitor their implementation.

Information on the results of the gender audit shall be posted on the official website of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.
