Article 48. Restoration of marriage in the appearance of the spouse declared by a court to be dead or recognized as missing

Family code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 30.04.1998 · In force

In the event of appearance of the spouse declared by a court to be dead or recognized as missing and abolition of the relevant court decisions, the marriage may be restored by the civil registry office at the joint request of the spouses.

Marriage may not be restored if the other spouse has entered into a new marriage.
