Article 32. Modification and dissolution of the marriage contract

The marriage contract may be modified or dissolved at any time upon mutual agreement of the spouses. The agreement to modify or dissolve the marriage contract shall be exercised in the same form as the conclusion of the marriage contract.

No unilateral repudiation of the marriage contract shall be allowed. At the claim of one of the spouses, the marriage contract may be modified or terminated by a court decision on the grounds of and in line with the procedure established by the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The marriage contract terminates upon termination of the marriage, except for those duties stipulated by the marriage contract for the period after the termination of the marriage.
