Article 205. Procedure and terms of birth registration

Family code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 30.04.1998 · In force

The birth of children is subject to mandatory registration with the civil registration authorities within one month, regardless of the place of their birth or registration at the place of permanent residence or temporary stay of one of the parents.

Registration of the birth of a child born dead shall be made within 24 hours upon application of a medical institution by the civil registry office at the location of the institution.
