Article 201. Acts of civil status

Family code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 30.04.1998 · In force

Acts of civil status shall be the events and facts in the life of citizens, certified by the authorized bodies, such as birth, death, conclusion of marriage, dissolution of marriage.

Events and facts - adoption, establishment of paternity, change of surname, first name, patronymic, and sex change shall be reflected in the acts of civil status stipulated by part 1 of this Article, by making appropriate changes in them.

Records of the acts of civil status - being documents of public importance - shall be made in one copies.
