Article 195. Agreement on the placement of children into a foster family for upbringing

The agreement on the placement of children into a foster family for upbringing shall be concluded between the guardianship and trusteeship bodies and the foster parents.

The agreement on the placement of children into a foster family for upbringing shall provide for the conditions of maintenance, upbringing, and education of children, the rights and duties of foster parents, the duties of the guardianship and trusteeship bodies with respect to the foster family, as well as the grounds and implications of termination of such an agreement.

The conclusion of the agreement shall be preceded by an examination of the living conditions and health status of the family members of the person accepting the child for foster care.

When children are placed in foster family, the guardianship and trusteeship bodies shall provide them with clothing and shoes at a time, and the person who has taken the child into foster care shall be paid a monthly allowance for their maintenance in the amount established by legislation.
