Article 142. Liability for late payment of alimony

When arrear has emerged through the fault of a person obliged to pay alimony under an agreement on payment of alimony, the guilty person shall bear responsibility according to the procedure stipulated by that agreement.

When arrear has emerged through the fault of a person obliged to pay alimony by the court decision, the guilty person shall pay to the alimony recipient a penalty equal to one-tenth of one percent of the unpaid alimony for each day of arrears.

Recipient of alimony shall also be entitled to recover from the person guilty of late payment of alimony all losses caused by delay in execution of alimony obligations in the part not covered by penalty.
