Exemption from payment of alimony arrears or reduction of these arrears in the event of payment of alimony upon agreement of the parties shall be possible upon mutual agreement of the parties, except for cases of alimony payment for minor children.
By claim of the person, obliged to pay alimony, the court shall have the right to exempt him/her fully or partially from payment of alimony arrears, if it will establish that failure to pay alimony took place in connection with illness of this person or for other valid reasons and his/her financial and family situation does not allow to repay the arisen alimony arrear.
