Article 135. Voluntary payment of alimony

Family code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 30.04.1998 · In force

Alimony shall be paid voluntarily by the person obliged to pay alimony personally or at his/her application filed at his/her place of work or at the place where he/she receives a pension, allowance, scholarship, and other sums.

Alimony for minor children on application shall be withheld in the amounts provided for by Article 99 of present Code.

Alimony for maintenance of minor children may be paid in advance for the period until the child attains majority, including by provision of immovable or movable property or other valuable item.

The voluntary procedure for payment of alimony shall not exclude the right of the alimony recoverer to apply to the court at any time with a claim or application for the recovery of alimony.
