Article 134. Methods and procedure for payment of alimony under an agreement

Methods and procedure for payment of alimony under an agreement on payment of alimony shall be determined by that agreement.

Alimony may be paid as follows: In shares to the earnings and (or) other income of the person obliged to pay alimony; in a firm amount of money paid periodically; in a firm amount of money paid in a lump sum; by providing property or in other ways regarding which an agreement is reached.

An agreement on payment of alimony may provide for a combination of different methods of payment of alimony.

Indexation of the amount of alimony payable under the agreement on payment of alimony shall be made in accordance with that agreement. If the agreement on payment of alimony does not provide for the indexation procedure, the indexation shall be carried out in accordance with Article 144 of present Code.
