Family code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 30.04.1998 · In force
Family legislation shall consist of this Code and other legislative acts adopted pursuant thereto.
The objectives of family legislation shall be to strengthen the family, build family relationships based on feelings of mutual love, trust and mutual respect, cooperation, mutual support and responsibility to the family of all its members, prevent arbitrary interference by anyone in family affairs, and ensure the unhindered exercise by family members of their rights and their protection.
