Article 363. Execution of letters of request from foreign courts and letters of requests of the courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan to foreign courts

The courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall execute the letters of request from foreign courts on production of certain procedural actions (serving summons and other documents, interviewing parties and witnesses, on-site examination and inspection, etc.) that have been transferred to them in the established order, except for the cases when:

1) Execution of the letter of request will harm the sovereignty and security of the Republic of Uzbekistan or contradict the basic principles of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

2) Execution of the request is not within the competence of the court.

Execution of the requests of foreign courts on the production of certain procedural actions shall be performed on the basis of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan may apply to foreign courts with the requests on execution of certain procedural actions.

The procedure for relations of the courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan with foreign courts shall be determined by legislation and international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
