Article 331. Filing the application

A person who has lost a valuable bearer document issued by a bank on the deposit of money or the acceptance of valuables or bonds of government loans, as well as in other cases stipulated by law, may ask the court to invalidate the document and to restore rights under the lost document.

The case shall be considered by the court at the location of the institution that issued the bearer document.

The circumstances under which the loss of the document occurred, the name of the institution that issued the bearer document, the name of the document, its distinctive features, as well as a request to recognize the lost document invalid shall be specified in the application.
