Article 172. Special Considerations with Respect to Insolvency of City-Forming and Equivalent Enterpriseс

A case on the insolvency of a city-forming enterprise and an enterprise equated to it may be initiated by a court if there are signs of insolvency provided for in Article 5 of this Law.

When a case concerning the insolvency of a city-forming enterprise or an equivalent enterprise is being considered, the relevant local executive authority and/or the relevant ministry, agency, or economic administration body shall be recognised as a person participating in the case.

The procedure for classifying enterprises as city-forming and equivalent enterprises shall be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
