Article 36. Reduction of Period of Stay in the Republic of Uzbekistan

The period of stay in the Republic of Uzbekistan of foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the territory of other states, who violate the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the rules of stay in the Republic of Uzbekistan, may be reduced in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The period of stay in the Republic of Uzbekistan of foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the territory of other states may also be reduced upon termination of contractual relations with legal entities or educational organizations on the basis of their applications and at the request of individuals or legal entities who had invited them.
