Article 25. Scientific Council for the award of scientific degrees

A dissertation prepared for obtaining a scientific degree is defended by the scientific council for the award of scientific degrees, created by the corresponding specialization at a scientific organization and educational institution.

More than half of the members of the scientific council for awarding scientific degrees should consist of scientists who carry out their activities in the scientific organization and educational institution that created this council.

The Scientific Council for the award of scientific degrees acts on a voluntary basis and is considered responsible for the compliance of the dissertation with the chosen specialty, the quality and objectivity of the examination, the validity of the decision.
