By employees of legal entities with special service tasks — while performing service duties;
By citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, foreign citizens, and stateless individuals permanently residing in the Republic of Uzbekistan — in places where hunting, sports events, or shooting practice are held, for training purposes, and for self-defense purposes.
Foreign citizens temporarily staying in the Republic of Uzbekistan may carry the civil and service weapons and their ammunition belonging to them in places where hunting or sports events are held.
The carrying of long-barreled fireweapons shall be carried out un-cased, with a loaded magazine (drum) on safety, and the carrying of short-barreled fireweapons shall be carried out in a holster in the same manner.
Inserting a cartridge into the chamber is only permitted when there is a need to use the weapons or in a state of necessary defense or extreme necessity to protect the life, health, and property of citizens, as well as the property of legal entities.
The use of technically faulty civil and service weapons and their ammunition whose validity, storage, or usage period has expired, including gas weapons, is prohibited, with the exception of cases of conducting research and tests or checking the technical condition of the weapons and their ammunition.
Individuals carrying hunting weapons and their ammunition during hunting must carry their identity document, the hunting certificate issued by the hunters' public association, documents on the right to hunt, and the permit for the storage and carrying of weapons.
Individuals who have the right to store and carry civil and service weapons must comply with the established rules for their safe use.
