Article 2. Legislation on international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Legislation on international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan consists of this Law and other legislative acts.

International treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan are concluded, executed, terminated and their action is suspended in accordance with generally recognized principles and norms of international law, the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as this Law and the provisions of international treaties themselves.

If an international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes rules other than those stipulated in the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the rules of the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall apply.
