Article 11. Ethics expertise

On amendments and additions to the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On medicinal products and pharmaceutical activity" (LRU-399-son) · Date: 04.01.2016 · In force

Ethics expertise shall be carried out for the purpose of issuing a conclusion on the ethical justification of conducting clinical trials of pharmacological agents or medicines.

Ethics expertise shall be conducted by an Ethics Committee operating on a public basis, which shall include representatives of medical and research organizations, higher education institutions, mass media, non-governmental non-profit organizations, and other institutions of civil society.

The regulations on the Ethics Committee and its composition shall be approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
