Article 137. Grant

A grant from a higher budget to a lower budget is allocated in case of a forecast on expenditures of the lower budget exceeding a forecast on its revenues, given subventions and transferred revenues.

A grant from the republican budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan to budgets of state trust funds may be provided if a forecast on expenditures of state trust funds exceeds a forecasted on revenues, given balances at the beginning of the year.

Size of a grant provided from:

the republican budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan into lower budgets and budgets of state trust funds, is established when adopting the draft law on the State budget;

the republican budget of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional budgets of regions and the city budget of the city of Tashkent into the budgets of districts and cities, is established by the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Kengashes of people's deputies of the regions and the city of Tashkent when making decisions on the budget of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, local budgets of the regions and the city of Tashkent.
