Article 4. Protection of the family, motherhood, fatherhood, and childhood

Family code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 30.04.1998 · In force

In Uzbekistan, the family, motherhood, fatherhood, and childhood are under the protection of the State.

Motherhood and fatherhood are honoured and respected in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The interests of mothers and children shall be protected through special measures on protecting women's labour and health, creating conditions that allow women to combine work and motherhood, legal protection, as well as material and moral support for motherhood and childhood.
