Article 233. Annulment of civil status records

Family code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 30.04.1998 · In force

If two or more identical records are found by the civil registry office, the restored records may be annulled by the civil registry office at the place of their compilation.

If there are significant discrepancies in the discovered civil status records, such as a mismatch of the surname, first name, patronymic, date of birth, information about parents, the restored civil status records are annulled by a court decision.
