Article 231. Restoration of birth, marriage, and marriage dissolution records

Family code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 30.04.1998 · In force

Birth, marriage, and marriage dissolution records may be restored only on the request of the persons in respect of whom such records were made.

If a record of the birth of a child under sixteen years of age has been lost, it shall be restored at the request of the child's parents, guardians or custodians, or the administration of children's institutions.

If there is a dispute between the persons concerned, the record shall be restored in accordance with the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
