Article 221. Certificate of dissolution of marriage. Marks in the documents.

Family code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 30.04.1998 · In force

After the registration of the dissolution of the marriage, each of the former spouses shall be issued a certificate of dissolution of marriage.

If the name of one of the spouses changes, a note shall be made in the identity document about the need to exchange it.

The civil registry office that registered the dissolution of the marriage shall send a notice thereof to the civil registry office at the place of registration of the marriage for noting the termination of the marriage.
