Article 125. Duty of brothers and sisters to keep their minor or incapable adult brothers and sisters

Capable adult brothers and sisters with sufficient means may be imposed a duty to keep their minor brothers and sisters if the latter do not have parents or cannot obtain maintenance means from them. Such a duty may also be imposed on them with regard to incapable adult brothers and sisters in need of assistance, if the latter do not have parents, spouses (former spouses) and adult capable children, or cannot receive maintenance means from them.
