Article 451. Time limit for filing of the writ of execution for execution

The court decision may be filed for enforcement within three years from the date of its entry into legal force, unless the law establishes other time limits.

Writs of execution on recovery of periodic payments may be filed for execution during the whole period for which these payments were awarded. For the period preceding the filing of the writ of execution for execution, periodic payments shall be recovered within the time limits specified in the part one of this Article.

The duration of the time limits specified in part one of this Article shall start from the date of expiry of each payment deadline.

Should the court grant a deferral or installments for the execution of the judicial act prior to the issuance of the writ of execution, it shall indicate the time when the duration of the time limit for filing of the writ of execution for execution starts.
