Article 440. Calculation of the time limits for filing a claim

Civil procedure code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 22.01.2018 · In force

Time limits for filing a claim shall be calculated as follows:

1) In cases stipulated by Item one of part two of Article 437 of this Code — from the date of discovery of facts having substantial essence for the case;

2) In cases stipulated by Items 2 and 3 of part two of Article 437 of this Code — from the date of entry of the court verdict into legal force;

3) In cases stipulated by Item 4 of part two of Article 437 of this Code — from the date of entry into legal force of the court verdict, decision, ruling, or resolution or a ruling rendered by another body that are contrary to the verdict, decision, ruling, or resolution on which the reopened decision, ruling, or resolution was based.
