Article 387. Documents Attached to an Appeal (or Protest)
Civil procedure code of the Republic of Uzbekistan · Date: 22.01.2018 · In force
The following shall be attached to an appeal:
a document confirming the payment of state duty and postal expenses;
if the appeal is signed by a representative — a document confirming their authority to sign.
The appeal (or protest) shall be submitted to the court with the number of copies corresponding to the number of parties involved in the case, except for appeals (or protests) submitted in electronic form.
If necessary, the judge may obligate the person filing the appeal (or protest) to provide copies of the attached written materials in a number corresponding to the number of parties involved in the case.
If the prosecutor did not participate in the proceedings, a copy of the complaint submitted by the person(s) mentioned in Part One of Article 383 of this Code, which served as the basis for filing the appeal, shall be attached to the prosecutorial appeal. This does not apply to cases where the prosecutor was supposed to participate, but the case was considered without properly notifying them of the time and place of the hearing.
In case of an appeal (or protest) against a ruling refusing to accept or returning a claim, a copy of the returned claim and all documents previously submitted with it must be attached.
If the appeal (or protest) is against a decision to reinstate an unlawfully dismissed employee or a transfer to another position, it shall only be accepted if accompanied by a document confirming enforcement of the appealed decision.
