Article 383. The right to file an appeal (protest)

Parties and other persons involved in the case, as well as persons not involved in the case, but whose rights and obligations have been resolved by the court, as well as the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights and Legal Interests of Entrepreneurs under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan may appeal, except for disputes not related to business activities.

The prosecutor, or a superior prosecutor, may lodge an appellate protest against a judicial act of the court of first instance that has not entered into legal force in cases where the case was considered with the participation of the prosecutor, or where the law provides for the participation of the prosecutor but the case was considered without duly notifying him of the time and place of the court hearing, as well as in the presence of applications from the persons specified in the first part of this Article.
