Article 359. Civil and procedural rights of foreign citizens and organizations

Foreign citizens shall have the right to apply to the courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan and enjoy civil and procedural rights on an equal basis with citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Foreign organizations shall have the right to apply to the courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan and enjoy civil and procedural rights to protect their interests.

In accordance with the procedure determined by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, retorsion measures may be established with regard to citizens and organizations of those States where special restrictions of civil and procedural rights of citizens and organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan are allowed.
